The Mankoadze Dental Clinic Project

Serving Mankoadze, Ghana and nearby villages.

The Need

For years, access to dental care in this region has been extremely limited. The nearest functional clinic is miles away, often requiring hours of travel. Even then, reliable care is not guaranteed.

As a result, many residents have gone without preventive or routine dental services entirely. Dental care has not been part of daily life, and small issues often become serious problems over time.

The Outcome

On February 17, 2026, the Mankoadze Dental Clinic officially opened its doors.

What began as a vision is now a working clinic — providing care to individuals and families who previously had little to no access.

The clinic is now delivering:

  • Preventive care
  • Essential dental treatment
  • Oral health education
  • Ongoing community outreach

For many in this community, this is the first time consistent dental care has been available.

From Construction to Care

The project has moved from development to daily operation.

  • The building has been completed and equipped
  • Donated dental equipment has been installed and is in use
  • Patients are now being seen and treated
  • The clinic is actively serving both Mankoadze and nearby villages

This milestone represents the collective effort of donors, partners, and community leadership working together to make care accessible.

What Support Is Needed Now

Opening the clinic was a critical step. Keeping it operational is the next.

The current need is ongoing funding to sustain daily operations, including:

  • Electricity and facility maintenance
  • Compensation for local and visiting dental professionals
  • Ongoing supplies and treatment materials
  • Continued improvements to the clinic environment

This is what ensures the clinic remains open, reliable, and effective for the community it serves.

How Contributions Make an Impact

Ongoing support allows the clinic to:

  • Provide consistent, reliable care
  • Serve more patients across multiple villages
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
  • Build long-term trust within the community

Every contribution helps turn access into consistency, and consistency into lasting health outcomes.

Equipment & Resources

Thanks to generous donors and partners, critical dental equipment has already been donated and shipped to Ghana, including chairs, tools, and sterilization systems. The shipping container arrived in late 2024 and is currently in storage as construction continues.

Financial contributions are the most helpful since we can direct funds to the most immediate needs, but equipment donations are welcome. Please reach out via our Contact Form if you would like to make an equipment contribution.
